dress code headerI must admit, if I had the money, I would have so many clothes. It’s weird though. I know that I could spend money on more things that matter, and if you know me, you know that’s me – through and through. But at the same time, I have the desire to look good. That’s what this post is all about – looking good. Or, should I say, looking better.

To look better, we must first take off what doesn’t look so nice. Yes, disrobe please. Now, we can put on the good stuff! There’s this guy who knows a little something about changing attire. He doesn’t just encourage us to take the ugly clothes off, he say to kills them. I know it’s extreme, but he never wants us to look that way again. Check out his quote below.

book-open_32pxPut to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.  On account of these the wrath of God is coming.  In these you too once walked, when you were living in them.  But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth.  Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices  and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.   Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience,  bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.  And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. -Colossians 3:5-10, 12-14 ESV (bold-type added)

Yep! Take off and put on! Don’t try to put on before you take off…that’s gross. I hope you enjoy your new dress code! I am trying to get used to it. Check out this video/song to add some fun to your dressing room!

Enjoy Life!
